Mike Kinney gained notoriety by winning the 2004 World Poker Challenge, which is a World Poker Tour event. In this event he triumphed over 342 players including a final table stacked with the likes of Men Nguyen, Eskimo Clark, Young Pham, and Tony Bloom. This win earned him almost $630,000.

Craig Hartman. Hartman has over $300,000 in career earnings. Craig made an impressive two final tables at the 2005 Third Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic.

Future of Poker in Indiana

Poker continues to grow in Indiana and poker rooms have either opened, or are opening in the near future, in most of the major casinos in the state. Aside from poker there are traditional casino games, as well as horse racing tracks, a state lottery, and bingo games throughout the state.
